Very nice location, great food, and amazing hospitality - very cooperative, laid back and friendly. Akhil gave us some local recommendations and helped us to plan our journey. can only recommend it.

Everything was good.... Had an amazing lake view. The last 300m was steep drive, though we enjoyed the ride. Mohit (caretaker) was very helpful and prompt. cook was making limited but good food, as good as home cooked meal. All in all a good experience.

My wife and I stayed for a night prior to our Har Ki Dun trek. It's a perfect homestay with a traditional family in the heart of Soud village. The room is adjacent to the rooms of other family members and is minimalistic. The view from the common balcony is soothing. The food which was garden fresh and simple was served with lots of love. A big thanks to Devender for all the help, information and assistance. He organized small treks (on payment) and we were escorted by chirpy little teenagers from their family who made it worthwhile. Clarify on the costs of food/trek beforehand in order to avoid surprises. The toilets are not attached with the rooms and theres a fly menace if you eat in the common balcony. All in all an simple yet exotic experience with a beautiful traditional joint family.

A hassle free check in experience, a pet friendly resort in true sense, easily accessible from the NH34, food was good, the owner of the place has tried to keep this place simple and close to nature, the owner also runs a Organic masala and cosmetic band in which the product are mostly made out of the organic produce of the resort.... had a very good overall experience, must book if you want a peaceful stay in natural habitat.

We had a wonderful time at the Yoga Villa and enjoyed every single day. The room was nice, the shower was hot, the area quite and safe, the staff very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the yoga classes - ashtanga and hatha. If we would go to Rishikesh again, we would definitely stay at the Yoga Villa.

Great secluded stay in the hills with the villa designed to be modern. Perfect if you like being amid nature. The massive lawn is definitely a plus.

It was very nice place to stay in front of canal. It is very quite & peaceful place. The house is very clean and staff is very good.

we were 12 friends looking for a good bnb. after going through ancient contacting around 15-20 bnbs, we shortlisted this one for a few reasons : Very reasonable price, the room size was big, the bathrooms were promised to be functional as I've faced this issue in my previous stays, the party room with pool table seemed pretty cool, plus it was located in a secluded place where we could get the whole pahaadi life feels but was also just 1 hour drive from mukteshwar and bhimtal. stay was even more exciting and comfortable than we expected. Aunty and uncle(the hosts) were so warm and friendly.. we literally got emotional when leaving. every small detail was taken care of. they were literally providing us with the BEST services from their end. and tbh, I will fall short of words if I talk about the FOOD!! OMG CRAZYY TASTY. the chicken and paneer and the snacks during the Bonfire were finger licking good. we had the best time of our lives here!!!

Thanks to Sneha and Karthik for making my trip a memorable one! They are super hosts indeed! Place is just beautiful and the room view is amazing. Walk way along River Ganga is just another brownie point.

I stayed in three airbnbs throughout my five-day trip to Dehradun, and Achintya's was by far the nicest. It was a little tough to find, but once there, it was nice and peaceful. The home has a large lawn, the rooms are large and clean with all the basic amenities, and Achintya is an excellent host. The nicest surprise is that two furry pals will appear to welcome you. So, if you enjoy the company of dogs, this is the spot for you. Overall, Great vibes!

I want to thank Sneha for accommodating us and making our stay worry free. she attended to all our inquiries, requests and concerns, all this added on top of a peaceful, relaxing environment. I personally loved the fact the the property is right beside the scenic and pleasant part of the river. to dine, sleep and wake up facing the mountain, the river and it's gentle sound through the big glass window is absolutely relaxing and amazing. walking to the ghat to watch the Ganges aarti through a scenic path exclusive for pedestrians is such a memorable experience. ( the only thing that concerned me are the monkeys repeatedly uprooting the plants at the balcony. well I guess, if that is their business, I might as well leave that to those little critters 😂). I will definitely would come back to this place and book my stay in this property

Yog1 was a great place to stay. They had very nice and clean rooms. There were geysers in the bathrooms and the shower was great. Even the beds were clean and comfortable, and blankets were also clean and warm.
