Great place, swati mam and her husband were friendly and very cooperative, the view is quite amazing and lush,, but the place is a bit secluded, so plan during day time, night traveling is not advised. Also they cook awesome home cooked meal,, try a dinner or lunch

“Memories of dehradun” appartment is exactly what name depicts... it actually created memory to my trip.. The stay was really comfortable and hospitality was to next level... i was overwhelmed by the hospitality of host ,it made me feel like home.. the pictures shown are exactly same infact i would say the room is more spacious and family -kid friendly... i loved the decor and especially bathroom coz its really huge..i enjoyed every bit of it.. location is great.. all grocery store n vegetable market just few min walk away. got scooty on rent from host which helped us alot.. there is good wifi so had no issue reaching host anytime.. there was quick response from host ..loved the ambiance .. greenery everywhere.. yes wont forget to mention that i enjoyed my morning tea sitting in balcony n enjoying breathtaking view.. it actually made my trip more beautiful.. would like to mention that host nidhi n nitin both are really helpful.. they helped us in every single issue.. guided us about the locality..nearby areas ,resturants,atm etc.. i will surely visit again ..stay is just worth the price ! would definitely like to recommend this appartment to everyone.. no second thought just BOOK it ! u won’t regret !

The Burra Bungalow has an old World charm with all the necessities for a modern day traveller craving for quietness and space for reflection. The location is very much walkable to the Mall Road, so location isn’t much of a compromise either. The food, the support staff Hemant and his wife are so generous and they turn up some really delectable homemade fare. Do try the Oriental menu one of the nights. The neatness, the large rooms, the amenities are a big plus. The host Mrinalini ji is just a phone call away and she did ensure we have an overall seamless and a peaceful stay. A must recommended and a unique home stay!!

Excellent stay! Very smooth check-in and check-out process. The caretaker bhaiyas Rahul & Alok were very well-behaved and friendly. All amenities as described in Airbnb were present.

We had an incredible stay, the property was absolutely wonderful, creativity at its peak. It truly was a slice of paradise, the view of the Himalayan peaks directly from your bed. The surrounding was super quiet and peaceful, Chirping from the birds was all I was able to hear . Thank you for an unforgettable experience and constant proactive guidance in ensuring we don’t get lost on our way. We also visited Kasar Devi temple. 😊😇🙏 Look forward to going back again and definitely recommending to my other friends.

Thank you VPS cottage. We felt at home through our stay! This stay has all the facilities which are available at home. The rooms are very aesthetically designed and are very clean including restrooms. Cupboards have extra warm blankets too and there are heaters in each room. Kitchen is very well equipped with stove, utensils and refrigerator. Was so helpful for us to even reheat our food. Everything is so nearby to this stay, in terms of delicious food restaurants, markets, medicines, Mall Road etc. Once you get down the stay, even taxis are readily available for sightseeing. Care taker Neeraj was always available on call for all our house keeping needs. A very helpful boy who also helped with transporting our luggage. Manager Bhupal helped us with sightseeing details. Highly recommend This stay :)

We had a very comfortable stay at Arti’s place. She is extremely helpful and responded to all our queries. The house is a quaint little place away from the city noise. It has a beautiful garden and the entire house is done up very well. The kitchen is fully functional and we completely felt at home! Thank you Arti!

The property is nestled in an amazingly picturesque surrounding. Very peaceful ambience, comfortable rooms and extremely responsive n helpful staff. The food was great. Bone fire needs a special mention. A terrific getaway from the hustle and bustle of city and what a respite in terms of weather (from scorching 45 degree to sub 20 degree). Would love to come back. A couple of suggestions- the water supply and pressure in the bathrooms need some attention. Also, the staircase railing is a necessity to prevent any accident. Notwithstanding all this, we had a memorable stay. All the best.

The home stay is located about 2 km from the parking area. The trek through the beautiful woods is a pleasant walk, but may be challenging for some due to the hilly terrain with some uphill and downhill sections. It's best to arrive before dark to avoid navigating the trail in low light. This is a rustic mud house, so luxury amenities should not be expected. As you are staying in the heart of nature, it's common to encounter mosquitoes, spiders and other creatures, especially in the bathroom and bedroom areas. Guests should be prepared for a more basic experience compared to a typical hotel. With my 13 year old son, I explained that we were guests in the animals' natural habitat, so we needed to coexist peacefully and adapt to our surroundings. After adjusting our mindset, we ended up thoroughly enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the natural setting. Before departing, be sure to visit the nearby Vijay Milan Math temple at the start or end of the trail. Good freash cooked food.

Had a great time, Mr KR was very responsive. It’s a nice place to enjoy some peaceful time with family and friends. The river is a small hike down from the property.

You need to be there to see how beautiful the property and the view is! You are overlooking the Bhimtal lake, and that gives you splendid views all round the clock. The caretaker, Pawan, is a wonderful person with a never say no attitude. We faced a bit of a water supply issue, but he was there to try everything to ensure we got the issue resolved as soon as possible. Our checkin was planned late in the evening, and Pawan esnured to keep a track of our whearabouts and be there to assist us when we arrived. There are wonderful places to try eating out, or even get food delivered (directly by calling). Very decent approach hill road to the property, and anyone with hill driving experience would never complain. Ample place to park your vehicle in the property right beside the building. This being in the midst of a lovely forest, one needs to keep an eye for insects and spiders. Keep doors & windows closed especially once it's dark. When in Bhimtal, this is the place to be!!

I recently stayed at Swati's Name lovely home stay for 2 days while visiting dehradun for a family vacation. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the decor was modern and welcoming. We particularly loved the comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals. The balcony offered a stunning view of the mountains , which was a bonus. Swati was incredibly friendly and responsive. Communication was smooth and prompt throughout our stay.The listing accurately described the property, and the photos were exactly what we encountered upon arrival. One small suggestion would be to add a few more crockerys in the kitchen for , but this was a minor detail in an otherwise perfect stay.I highly recommend Swati’s apartment to anyone visiting Dehradun. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Wow! This has been an awesome memorable experience. Meena aunty is fabulous. She is a perfect host who takes care of your needs and fulfills it. Her apartment is perfectly located to enjoy nature and breathtaking view of mountains and river. On top of it is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. There's pretty much everything that you need and rest is a phone call away. Something which makes this experience ultra special is Meena aunty's personal touch.
