ROOFTOP DECK Is an utterly private deck on the third floor, with 270 degree views, a peek of the Hollywood sign, chaise lounges for four, sofa for ten all surrounding a gas fire-pit. It’s a great place to sun and hangout, watch the sunset, or drink cocktails by the fire. Due to noise restrictions, guest use not permitted after 10 pm. PARKING: Two cars will fit in the driveway. (Except Tuesday morning 8:30-10:30 am street sweeping) In general, this neighborhood has ample street parking, except during summer weekends, or warm winter ones. During those times, any cars in excess of four can park (even overnight) in the public parking lots nearby : #9 at 14031 Palawan Way, or #13 at 4601 Via Marina. , in Marina Del Rey. SELF CHECK-IN The house features an electronic lock on the front door. Two days prior to your arrival I will send you your code that unlocks it, and you may let yourself in any time after 4pm on your day of arrival (or 1:30 pm for luggage drop off). House instructions and wi fi passwords are posted in the kitchen. EARLY CHECK-IN and LATE DEPARTURE This is a frequent request, and since the house is rented out nearly 100%, usually impossible to accommodate. The house takes five hours to clean between 11 am checkout and 4 pm check in. However, if you don’t mind seeing a messy house you may drop off luggage after 1pm. Similarly, if you are checking out and have a late flight, you may leave luggage by the front door until 12:30 pm. MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENT. I get many more rental requests than I can handle. I need to fill every night of the week, so I have some guidelines that determine which rental requests I accept. Following these will help get your request accepted: 1. Weekend reservations that includes a Saturday night must be for a minimum of three nights. FILM AND EVENT USE The house has been used successfully for feature films, commercials, video interviews, catalog shoots, music videos, lifestyle photos, Wedding; dinners, brunches, makeup, family, photos, ceremonies; strategy meetings, special interest seminars, yoga retreats, dinner parties and, employee off sites. I generally do not allow birthday parties, bachelor /bachelorette parties, music performances, or any gathering likely to create excessive noise or disturb the neighbors. For speciaI uses, charge the daily Airbnb rate for the number of guests actually sleeping over, plus an additional flat fee that is based on the specifics of your use. To request a quote, tell me the number of people sleeping over each evening, plus an estimate of the total number of additional visitors, employees, guests , employees or service providers who would be at the property each day. Just a 2 minute drive from rustic Topanga and 10 minutes from the beaches of Santa Monica and Malibu, we are also directly across the street from Topanga state park, the largest tract of park land in Los Angeles. Trailhead is within walking distance with access to miles of trails of varying difficulty. Red Rock Canyon is also 5 minute drive. Over the ridge to the Valley is 12 minute drive with access to all modern shopping amenities and restaurants. Its really up you. We are a super chill couple with years of airbnb experience as both hosts and guests. Your space is your own private area that is connected to the main house by a short trail. We are always available to help with advice about the area or to just hang out and trade travel stories. Topanga is a special place that has been occupied by native americans for hundreds of years. They chose this area for its lush vegetations, calm winds and dry temperate climate. The moisture comes up the canyon every morning and evening to feed the vegetation. It truly is a mountainous paradise within proximity to all LA has to offer. The people are a laid back mix of musicians, artists and film makers from all over the world. You can literally get lost in the maze of meandering roads and trails that give sight to the eclectic architecture and natural vistas. Everyday the weather is near perfect - you have to experience it yourself to fully understand. A rental car is a must in LA. You can use LYFT or UBER to get to and from the city but it is not as convenient as having your own wheels. A taxi can be taken from LAX or Burbank airports to the cabin. Mountain biking and hiking are great ways to explore the area. Several trails originate near our home and can be taken all the way down to the coast. Topanga Creek Bicycles is just down the street and is one of the coolest bike shops on the west coast. They offer great deals on mountain bike rentals and can give you advice on what trails you should explore for your skill level. The cabin is a guest house on our property with its own parking space. We have 2 driveways so parking is never an issue. The cabin has a kitchen with a fridge, 2 burner range and a microwave. The private deck features a picnic table, a hammock, two lounge chairs and a small propane Weber grill. Available for any help/guidance! And we love to meet our guests but fully respect their privacy. The cabin is a few minutes' drive to Topanga and some great organic restaurants as well as fun shops. Drive to the beach in Malibu or stay in the area and commune with nature on a hike or bike ride. Topanga Creek Bicycles is just down the street and is one of the coolest bike shops on the west coast. The 2nd bedroom is smaller than the master, but has plenty of space for a comfortable queen sized bed. It has a desk (for when it is time to get down to work). It's also appointed with a walk-in closet. The big backyard has both an avocado and orange tree. It is landscaped with native, drought resistant plants. With a lighted outdoor dining area, it's the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor meal and drink, or just lounge in the California sun. You have access to the entire home. Including the driveway, front porch and back yard. Please note that the driveway is narrow, so only sedans and compact SUVs will fit. Send a text or message via the site for a quick response. The house is right in the middle of the Sunset Junction and Virgil Village neighborhoods of Silver Lake. It is one of the most vibrant, diverse and walkable locations in all of Los Angeles. Quietly kept this space in the canyon lends itself to people whom are looking to read, write, relax, unwind, yoga, reflect..... feeling like you want to be on the property hiking all around ( Red Rock Trail Hike 4 min drive ) the property backs to a Creek’s Edge. Mountain View’s everywhere. 10 minute drive to the middle of the canyon brings you to local shops, small local market, artesian restaurants, art galleries and other Topanga staple businesses. Guest have access to the complete guest suite: (Bedroom , bathroom, common living space and kitchenette) Outside table and chairs provide a semi private sitting area as well as deck on roof with Mountain View’s. Washer and dryer in separate area are also available upon request to guest if need be. This property has other units on site.... We live on the property and are welcoming to all. Topanga is a short drive from the Malibu coastline, renowned for surf spots and beautiful beaches. Head toward Calabasas to find San Fernando Valley's fabulous shopping and restaurants. Hollywood and Santa Monica are both a picturesque drive away. It is highly recommended that you have a car to get around. We are nestled in the middle of Old Topanga Canyon. Los Angeles and it’s surrounding areas have great public transportation and Uber and Lyft do come in and out of the canyon but a car is a must given our proximity to outside areas. *** important to know: the Driveway is a little steep. The first time you come down can be a little daunting. Feel free to find parking at the top of the property first time down, or trust that you have plenty of space to turn around and park in front of your rental***

This space can sleep up to 2 comfortably and a futon for 2 additional guests. We have BIKES, a TV, a gourmet kitchen with stainless Frigidaire appliances and laundry room. You will have the entire space for you and your guests! This home has it’s own Private entrance! There is free street parking in front of the house (never had an issue getting parking)! Jump on the cruiser bikes to begin exploring, with the beach less than 2 miles away. Downtown Long Beach is not much further, and is known for its sports bars. Sights such as Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, and Hollywood are also within easy reach.
