What a wonderful place to stay! The view and the sound of the ocean make this place a gem! The cabin itself is a cozy and modern place with everything that you need to enjoy your time. We spent our first morning walking along the rocks on the beach, enjoying the sight and sound of the ocean. There were huge rains that came later that day (and for the rest our stay) and we loved listening to it while sitting by the warmth and glow of the fire in the wood stove. We equally enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the rain in a very comfortable bed! When there were breaks from the rain, we drove around to check out the local communities, walk some trails and beaches, and try the couple of cafes and restaurants (the wood-fired pizza place was incredible!). Aletta was a wonderful and responsive host with communication before we arrived and checking in after we checked in to make sure we had everything that we needed. We will be back for sure!

this "Tiny house on Pender Island" really was tiny, but perfectly adequate for our needs. It was a lovely place, & Zoe was helpful & kind. We had no car, so were getting around using a taxi or Pender Island "car stops", where you sit & wait, like hitch-hiking. Our departure was supposed to be on an early ferry on a Tuesday, but with 2 suitcases, it was too risky to wait at the car stop in front of Zoe's place, so we wanted to book a taxi ahead of time... but they don't work Tuesdays! Zoe kindly offered to give us a ride, unless we could get one from someone else going at that time, using the Pender Island social media marketplace (Zoe's suggestion). On Monday morning, Zoe messaged to say she was unwell, & wouldn't be able to give us a lift, & with no response from social media, we left on an afternoon ferry, which wasn't a major problem, just one of those hiccups that can happen while travelling. Just a warning for those with no car! I'd highly recommend Zoe's place.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in Shannon’s 2 bedroom cottage. It’s a great location a few minutes drive from Ganges, in a peaceful setting with pretty garden spaces and views over the water. It was a very comfortably furnished and relaxing space, full of interesting pieces of furniture and collectibles as well as some of Shannon’s beautiful textiles. The cottage is full of eclectic charm. Shannon provided a breakfast basket full of goodies and was so kind and welcoming. Worth noting that at the time of our visit there was no TV but a competitive game of scrabble and a good book kept us amused.

We had a lovely stay at Heather and Rob’s place. Would definitely stay again. Kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the view was amazing.

This hidden gem was such a joy to stay at. Goldstream and the Malahat skywalk are RIGHT down the road. From the massive arbutus trees to the breathtaking view, the location is mind boggling. This is camping at its finest. Gleb was great and gave us very clear instructions for RV living. We even had a pair of great horned owls nearby calling for hours while we had our camp fire the last evening. Great stay! Can’t wait to come back again!

Beautiful, private area on a gorgeous beach. Easy drive to local hikes and more new nature. The home is clean and comfortable. The router was broken so I did not have the wifi that I needed, but Harrison worked with me to find an acceptable solution.

Had a lovely mini vacation in the Sydney area with my husband, Mom and small dog. Thomas and Sylvie let us check in super early. The views and sunrise were spectacular.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Trailbreak house. We were 5 adult friends staying together for a long weekend getaway. The location is awesome. Very close to Mystic Beach and China Beach. Beautiful beach access down a set of stairs with a beach swing. House has everything you need if you love to cook. Would come back in the future and would recommend especially for young families. Very relaxing and peaceful.

Gramma Rikki's beautiful home was a wonderful place for our large family gathering. Both inside and out, the property provides spaces to interact as a group and also to find some solitude. The children loved the play area and space to run around; early risers did not disturb late sleepers. The location near Lime Kiln State Park provided hours of hiking and searches for whales. It was an easy drive to other locations on the island. Amenities were plentiful and the home is even more lovely in person. Gramma Rikki was always available for anything we needed yet completely unobtrusive. We will definitely return to this oasis.

Such a beautiful place...spectacular views, well appointed, very comfortable. One of our favourite places......highly recommend.

My husband and I loved the place. Susan and Rob Medis at the door and showed us everything in great detail. The attention to detail was phenomenal. We really feel like we made some new friends. The place was comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything you would ever need for a stay. There is no question that we will stay with them next time we visit the Victoria area. If you love to run or walk or hike, the proximity to the railroads University and all of the lush surroundings is amazing. There is so much birdlife and animal life near the lagoon that you can spend hours just watching. The location was perfect for us.

We had a wonderful stay in Margaret‘s cottage. She was always readily available and quick to respond when we had any questions. The cottage is absolutely beautiful. The views are amazing from the big windows and the deck. The sleeping area was perfect for the 5 of us. The complex also has great amenities although we didn’t utilize all of them. Currents is a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal so it’s very convenient if you want to leave the car at home and walk on to the ferry. We would highly recommend Margaret’s cottage and are already looking forward to going back!

Phil accommodated a very last minute booking. Normally I wouldn’t stay at a more rustic style accommodation, but this place was great! I was pleasantly surprised at how cozy and warm the space is, and the bed is comfy..the area is quiet. Would stay again when I am in the mood for a little adventure!

We really enjoyed Carol and Dans suite while in Port Renfrew for a couple of nights. The place was perfect for the two of us. Very clean, well organized and cozy. The view of the bay and mountains is stunning. We also appreciated Dan’s warm welcome and recommendations. Highly recommended as the place to stay in PR.

The place was incredible. Just a 5min walk from the grocery store, pizza place, farmers market and everything you need in Mayne. Right up the hill from the beach. He even came and greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. All-in-all a beautiful spot and we would book again!

House was well appointed, having everything to make for a comfortable visit. The entire property was very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The property is located right on the water with beautiful views. It is very private with a gated entry. The landscaping is very nice and well maintained. Andrea communicated very well. She is very responsive and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Sooke.

Wonderful, cozy stay. Bed was very comfortable. Great spot to come back to and relax after sightseeing around Victoria. We didn’t hear any noise even though it’s a ground level basement suite. Jie was extremely responsive and was also flexible with the check-in time. Would be happy to stay here again!

We had such a wonderful time at Kelly’s. The house is located so close to all the great local hiking, and not too far from Sooke or Port Renfew. The cabin itself it beautiful, thoughtful touches are everywhere. The kitchen is very well set up and felt like cooking at home! Beds were cozy and the beautiful access to peaceful hikes was wonderful. Would absolutely love to stay again!
