Guest access to the Gazebo, Island, 2-acre Trails and Treehouse is by APPOINTMENT ONLY for the time being - we are renovating and finishing many-a-things and will open them up for public use and fun asap. Nested between a park and suburban neighborhoods, the three acre property off a small graveled lane, is embraced by limited residents and undeveloped forest areas that create a secluded, quiet and private vibe. Right outside the house's gates, is a trail leading through the woods to the park for peaceful walks under giant cedars, maples, pines, and douglas firs. Giant rhodedendrons, mossy trees, and native plants bring a variety of wildlife to the property and neighborhood. Close to both 405 and 520. Walking distance to Microsoft! The bus system is within close walking distance as well and there is a path to Grasslawn park right out the door and through the woods. There's also the bike trail leading to the burke trail just a few neighborhoods away. Bike friendly and we're tuning a few of ours to also offer to our guests...stay tuned on that perk. This is a 1-bedroom facility (3-ish story) with a loft and day bed all within the same air-space as the queen main bed. So if you plan on having 4 people stay (family) you'll be bonding even more so! Bring your story books and ear plugs if you're planning on sharing the space. :) And if you're planning on taking advantage of the sofa bed downstairs in the living room - get ready to wake with the sun! East facing beds for sunrise alarms available pending the season. There are too many windows to count... Also please note that this house has many imperfections and really is more of an art project. Expect lot's of "character". There are many areas that could be better and we'll continue to improve them as we can invest in them.
