Margaret’s beautiful home in San Miguel de Allende exceeded my expectations. It had a beautiful patio, garden and terrace that exuded old Mexico charm. It is truly authentic in every sense of the word. Each bedroom was done up in beautiful colors, decorated with colorful art from local artisans. The area was super quiet, but a just few blocks from El Jardin, where all the action is. This is one of the original Hacienda-style homes where everything is on one level, so no stairs! The 5 of us had our own bedroom, which was great. One of the highlights was having Ariana cook for us 3 times/week. She spoiled us with a fabulous breakfast or mid-day meal. We gave her the pesos, and she did the shopping for us. Homemade salsas, guacamole, chili rellenos, etc. So tasty! The home is on a hilly street, so we got our “steps” in walking into town and back. Or, we hailed a taxi if we were too tired. Margaret’s home is one of the reasons that I love San Miguel. You will fall in love with it too! 💕

5 stars!! I rented this incredible house for my father’s 70th birthday, and it was perfect in every way! The space was huge, beautiful, and comfortable, with plenty of room for my whole family. We made some amazing memories here, and everyone absolutely loved it. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. I highly recommend this house for any special gathering or family stay!

Mi esposo y yo tomamos un retiro online durante nuestra estancia, solemos hacerlo cada 6 meses como pareja, y la casa fue simplemente maravillosa. Disfrutamos de un silencio absoluto, una conexión hermosa con la naturaleza, y un clima delicioso. La atención fue adecuada y oportuna en todo momento. ¡Un lugar perfecto para desconectar y recargar energías!

Muy a gusto con todo nos la pasamos muy bien , la casa muy bonita y el roof garden con una vista espectacular increíble para ver el atardecer con una copa de vino , seguramente volveremos a repetir la visita

Casa hermosa

Heather’s place was everything I expected, wanted, & needed. As a female solo traveler to SMA, I was looking for a place to call home for a week. Heather’s place was perfect! The neighborhood was somewhat quiet (for Mexico) not on a bus route & not a lot of cars. The market, a cafe, & corner convenience store where within a few minutes walking. Centro was maybe a 15-20 minute walk but if you preferred not to walk-taxis where always passing by. My favorite part of my day was—after adventuring all over SMA I would sit in Heather’s beautiful garden and watch the hummingbirds go from flower to flower.

Nos encantó la casa, es muy grande por lo que hay muchos espacios de recreación. Mi familia y yo nos sentimos muy muy a gusto, el jardín es hermoso y llega personal de limpieza y un jardinero para Mantenimiento. Claudia estuvo muy pendiente de nosotros todo el tiempo. Únicamente recomendaría aires acondicionados en la planta de arriba, ya que en esta época (abril) se pone muy caliente, y parece que la casa está diseñada para mantener el calor en invierno, por lo demás excelente.

Sean’s home is a beautiful mountaintop oasis with spectacular gardens and amazing views within a 20 minute drive of San Miguel Centro and all of its attractions. Sean answered all of our questions before we arrived and his on-site staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The Chateau and casitas were charming and comfortable with unique and beautiful artwork throughout. This was a perfect location for a gathering of our extended family! We would love to return for another visit!

Viktor is an exceptional host and his home is exactly as advertised. We took advantage of all the amenities over our 6 night stay, and especially loved the staff who care for the home. Delicious homemade chilaquiles after a night out will cure the most vicious hangover! Viktor was particularly helpful coordinating activities and suggesting restaurants and bars. He never steered us wrong. Highly recommend this listing to any group looking to experience San Miguel without staying directly in downtown.

We cannot say enough great things about our stay at Rich & Jod’s home. It is better than the pictures could ever capture. Rich & Jod were very responsive and helpful. The location is fantastic, and the staff were exceptional. It was unseasonably cold for SMA, and the house was heated and so cozy. We loved the many fireplaces, and the rooftop living area is outstanding. Heating the pool was worth every penny, and the hot tub was fantastic after a long day of touring. Leti and Rosa took such great care of us and were lovely. We also recommend having Rosa cook her recipes for authentic Mexican cuisine. Her Tortilla Soup was some of the best we have ever had! We hope to come back again!!

A los que les quieren desconectarse de su día a día, este es el lugar! una casa realmente bonita, pero para mi lo mas espectacular son sus grandes espacios verdes y sus vistas naturales. Hector siempre muy atento y amigable! Super, super recomendable!

Amazing stay! We were blown away by this Airbnb. The pictures and surprisingly few reviews don’t do it justice. This place is huge and stunning. It’s in a great location - close to the action, but still quiet. The service was incredible. Don’t hesitate to book this option!

First of all, the photos don’t do the place justice. Paula has created a beautiful home with furnishings that do the place justice. There are several places for you to sit down and relax. Inside and out. A rooftop which will give you a beautiful view over SMA, (plus amazing fireworks at New Years), an indoor seating area upstairs, another outdoor seating area below the rooftop, an indoor seating area a floor below where the kitchen is, another outdoor seating area and a place to eat at the kitchen level and then another area by the pool. We simply did not have enough time to enjoy all the areas😊 Tereza was absolutely wonderful! She is a wonderful cook. She prepared 2 delicious dinners for us and breakfast every morning ( except for Sunday and New Years Day, though she would have come if we wanted her to on New Years Day) Her margaritas were also very good! If walking is an issue for you, this might not be the best place for you. Otherwise, don’t hesitate and book it now!

Es una gran casa de campo para desconectarse del ajetreo de la ciudad!! Las habitaciones son espaciosas, cómodas y cuentan con todo lo necesario para descansar al 100! Armando es muy atento y un gran anfitrión Mi familia y yo tuvimos toda la privacidad y tranquilidad, ya que la zona es segura.

Súper buen lugar para pasar un fin de semana en familia, cuartos y baños muy amplios, con todas las amenidades y en excelentes condiciones. Fue muy fácil de llegar, se encuentra cerca del jardín principal (8 min en coche), la zona es súper tranquila. Todo muy bien.

Después de días de investigación tenía miedo de tomar la decisión equivocada, pero estoy súper orgulloso de haber escogido la mejor opción. Cuna del Cielo es un lugar lleno de amor, muy cuidado por su dueño, con el mejor servicio y extraordinaria comida. Viktor es sumamente sano y tendrás mil opciones saludables y llenas de Superfoods, pero también Fabi te consiente con cualquier antojo que puedas llegar a tener. El loft está tan espectacular como se ve en las fotos, lleno de luz y por sus características mantiene una temperatura súper agradable a cualquier hora del día, cuando está caliente afuera el cuarto es fresco y cuando está frío afuera el cuarto es cálido. El terreno es el más privilegiado de San Miguel con vistas impresionantes a la reserva ecológica y los mejores atardeceres. Aunque para nosotros todo fue perfecto, considera estos dos puntos: 1. La distancia caminando al centro es de 20 minutos 2. Al ser una habitación llena de ventanas, es imposible lograr el blackout

Demasiado agradable, muy tranquilo, el desayuno súper rico, Viktor siempre fue amable así como su asistente, nos dieron varios tips sobre las cosas que podíamos hacer cerca, sin duda volveríamos a ir, es más amplio que lo que esperaba, encantada!
