CARS AND PARKING For drivers you can park on the street all day as there are no parking restrictions and there is always a handy parking spot right out front of the apartment. TAXIS AND UBER. There are always plenty of taxis in the area. If you need one call 1300TAXI. We recommend an App called Uber where you can request a taxi ride and can be picked up minutes later by an independent driver with users paying in advance by credit card. You can even keep track of the approaching ride via live mapping. It's a great service if you are prepared to pay competitive prices up front and want to avoid the ring around, queues and waiting. TRAMS Less than 4 kilometers from the city, Middle Park is well served by Melbourne's premier tourist route the No. 96 Light Rail or the No. 12 Tram. Both are only a two minute walk away and depart roughly every ten minutes with St.Kilda only 5 minutes away and the city 20 minutes. BIKES There are lots of safe bike paths in the area to get to the many nearby tourist attractions. We provide free bikes, helmets and bike locks. The bikes are provided at the users risk.
