It's a stone's throw to the beach and botanical gardens. There are a plethora of public transport options available within a stone's throw from the front gate. Among these options is the 96 tram from the bottom of Acland Street which takes you straight to the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. Numerous tram and bus stops as well as a nearby train station ensure you can get wherever you need. In order to travel on public transport, you will need a Myki card which can be purchased from supporting stores such as local newsagencies or at train stations. We recommended using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps or downloading the Moovit app to your smartphone which provides detailed information on how to get from A to B. For those that love Uber (who doesn’t), St Kilda is a hot spot for Uber driver’s and in turn you’ll never wait too long for a pickup. If you’ve got a car, the adjacent Mitchell Street has 2 and 4 hourly parking and is within 50m to 100m of the apartment depending on where you land a spot. We are also able to provide a parking permit if required. The tram stop is outside the main front door for Tram Routes 16 & 74 or 5 minutes walk to Riversdale Road or Burwood Road tramlines. Barkers Road will take you to Richmond and Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre or take a leisurely walk along Burwood Road and the Yarra River.
