River Arts District and Downtown Asheville are minutes away by bicycle or car. Green belts and Riverbank parks are right down the hill. Easy access from the Highway & simple direct route from Asheville Regional Airport to our doorstep. Enjoy easy off street parking for one vehicle. Unload for your stay and unwind in this open, vaulted and serene bedroom suite. The bedroom has a queen size bed, 2 small chairs, writing desk, bedside tables, lamps and walk in closet available for guests. The decor is simple and thoughtful with clean designs and comfortable, high quality amenities. There is a private entrance to the space and an interior door that connects to the main house, which remains locked for your privacy and ours. Fix yourself a cup of tea or coffee at the morning bar and enjoy it on the second story deck, or perhaps an evening beverage under the stars or simply take in the mountain air. The room is furnished with a ceiling fan and 48" smart TV. The bathroom is large with a tile surround shower with double shower heads and a large vanity and mirror- great to get ready for those big days while in Asheville! Whatever the reason you find yourself in Asheville, if it's work, friends, family or outdoor adventure, restaurants, music, art galleries or shopping , I hope you'll choose to stay at the HiTop while enjoying your visit to Asheville. Your available access is the entire suite and one designated parking space in front of the house that can accommodate one vehicle. There is covered and secure bicycle parking available upon request. The West AVL neighborhood is walkable / bikeable to The River Arts District, New Belgium Brewing, Wedge Brewing and the hub of West AVL's business district, Haywood Rd. Walk or bike, the bus stop is a 10 minute walk, $7 cab ride to downtown, driving optional! Please note that the unit is accessed by a flight of stairs. We do not recommend this unit for anyone with walking difficulties. Also, we are a family that lives in the house, so while we are especially conscious when we have guests, you may hear us in the mornings getting ready for school and work, at bedtime as well as moments of general toddler exuberance.

Admire Local Art at a Boutique Studio Perched on a Hill

This fun and brand new space was designed with comfort in mind. The living area has 2 comfy chairs, a coffee table adorned with beautiful books and a small dining table. Although the kitchenette is small it has every thing you need to cook a meal from an induction burner to a toaster oven. Can't decide if you want espresso? A french press? A one cup Keurig? Have them all! There is also cinnamon and nutmeg for sprinkling. I provide yummy snacks like popcorn with black truffle salt, filtered cucumber water in the fridge, lime infused ice cubes (perfect for gin and tonics) complimentary beverages and light breakfast. This space is exclusive to our guests so open the drawers and cupboards, we are sure you will find what you need. The bathroom is appointed with a full medicine cabinet, organic bath products, hairdryer and a hot towel warmer for makeup removal. The bedroom has a queen bed with a pillow top, pillow covers, Allergin mattress cover and high quality linens. There is no shortage of blankets or pillows! Bedroom also has a smart tv with Netflix, a writing desk with a printer for our business travelers and a cozy sitting nook. The nightstands are stocked and there are nightlights to help you find your way in the dark. There are blinds and darkening shades, as well as a sound machine for blissful sleep. In the closet there is a fan, full length mirror, iron, ironing board, hand sanitizer, games and plush robes. There is a guidebook filled with all of our favorite local joints and free maps for you to take as you navigate our lovely little city.Our goal is for our guests to leave happier and more relaxed than when they arrived. This private and serene space is solely for the guest. There are no shared spaces. This is a cozy apartment but it is attached to our home. There may be everyday life noises but we are pretty quiet and there will be nothing excessive or loud. Our home is perched on the top of a small hill so please park in the designated "guest parking" to ensure that you can successfully turn around in the driveway rather than backing down. I live on site so I am always available but I will also respect your privacy. Beautiful north Asheville is a quiet, safe neighborhood within walking distance of the historic Grove Park Inn for a drink in front of one of the great fireplaces or on the veranda. Make the short walk to the local brewery and popular restaurants. There is a bus stop a few blocks away. An Uber ride is usually available within minutes and takes about 5 minutes to get to downtown. $7 Uber ride. Although there are plenty of parking options, downtown gets busy so Uber is always a good choice! We have a lovable golden retriever who is well behaved and not in the guests space. He rarely barks (just occasionally at cartoons.) This space is perfect for couples, solo and business travellers. There is a pack and play upon request but the space is not child proofed. If you have bikes, we have a large garage for storage. We also have access to discount tickets for dining, facials, shopping, massages and local tours.

The suite is on the walkout basement level of the Hosts' home, therefore some noise from upstairs will transfer. Short walk from restaurants, shops, breweries, galleries, and parks & greenway. Our guest suite is great for business travelers, families, and anyone in between! You’ll find that it’s very cozy and comfortable and in the best part of town. In the private guest suite you have a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and outdoor patio to yourself. There is a mini fridge, microwave, kitchen table, shelves for food, dinnerware for 4, and an electric kettle for coffee and tea. You have the basement apartment to yourself and can interact with us as little or as much as you want. We are available to you, as needed. The home is set in charming West Asheville and within a short walk from many restaurants, breweries, shops, and cafes, such as Owl Bakery, Hole Doughnuts, Pizza Mind, Gan Shan West, Taco Billy, New Belgium Brewery, Urban Orchard Cider, Hi-Wire Brewery, The Wedge Brewery and several art galleries in the River Arts District. Downtown art galleries are a short drive away. Everything you need is within walking distance or Uber and Lyft are reliable. A car rental makes sense for day trips, as there is so much to do outside of Asheville.
